According to Digitimes, Apple is preparing it's second generation iPad with OLED screen. There will be 2 versions, the first one is using a 5.6-inch screen and the second version with a 7-inch display. The current 9.7-inch iPad will also be updated with some minor changes. OLED screens on iPad means that the price will be higher than the current generation but the cost of an OLED display is dropping so we hope that Apple set an affordable price.

"The new 5.6- and 7-inch iPads will mainly target the e-book reader market, separating them from the 9.7-inch model, which mainly targets multimedia entertainment, the sources stated."

Apple may launch the second generation iPad in the fourth quarter of 2010 or early 2011.
